Ingredients
1 Thick-Sliced Beef Steak
1 Medium Carrot
2 Medium Potatoes
1 Medium Red Onion
3 Garlic Cloves
1 Leek
4 Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
2 Sprigs of Rosemary
Dry Rub Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Paprika
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
½ Tablespoons Ground Black Pepper
½ Tablespoons Salt
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
1 Tablespoon Cumin
Recipe
Mix all spices to create a dry rub powder
Cover and rub the meat with spice mixture and let it sit a minimum of 1 hour in the fridge
Roughly chop all vegetables and place them into a bakeware
Drizzle olive oil, add lemon zest and squeeze half of the lemon
Slice the other half of lemon and place into bakeware with rosemary sprigs and garlic cloves
Sprinkle some salt, black pepper and roast 45 minutes at 190 C preheated oven
Heat a cast iron and cook each side of the steak for 2 minutes for a medium level.
Rest for 5 minutes and slice the steak
Serve with roasted vegetables
